About Nu Growth Preservation

Nu Growth Preservation is a New Orleans-based cultural arts and creative production organization rooted in the preservation, celebration, and evolution of Black culture.

Founded by Brittany Everfield and AnaStasia Ebel, Nu Growth was born from a shared belief that Black art, stories, traditions, and creative expression deserve to be preserved, experienced, and carried forward.

Through original programming, exhibitions, visual storytelling, and community-centered experiences, we create spaces where culture is not only remembered but actively explored, reimagined, and celebrated.

Our work brings together artists, creatives, cultural institutions, and communities to develop meaningful experiences that honor the past while creating opportunities for the next generation of cultural contributors.

Our inaugural exhibition, Hairchive: An Offering, embodies this mission. Through sculptural works, photography, film, and storytelling, Hairchive explores Black hair as a living archive of identity, memory, artistry, and cultural heritage.

At its core, Nu Growth Preservation is about creating the space, structure, and opportunity for stories to be told, artists to be seen, and culture to continue evolving.

We believe preservation is not simply about holding on to what was. It is about nurturing what can become.
