The Northwest Travelers (NWT) 12U Blue team is going to Cooperstown Dreams Park in July of 2024! In order to get there, we need raise money to cover the players, coaches, umpire fees and more.

Who are Northwest Travelers 12U Blue?

We are a new travel baseball team located in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago. The team is made up of 12 boys located in Palatine, Barrington, Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, and Streamwood Illinois.

What is Cooperstown Dreams Park?

Cooperstown Dreams Park is a large 6 day tournament located in Cooperstown, NY exclusively for travel baseball teams at the 12U level. Cooperstown attracts teams from all over the USA to compete against each other. Players (and coaches) stay together in military barracks style lodging located on Dreams Park property. This allows for a unique opportunity for teams to not only compete against each other but also meet, interact, play pickup games and more during their stay there. It is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our boys. The tournament will provide memories these young ball players will never forget.

What Do We Need?

Unfortunately, Cooperstown Dreams Park does not put on these tournaments out of the goodness of their hearts. Players and coaches sleep, eat, and play baseball on site and therefore there is a large fee for each player & coach. Teams also need to pay for an umpire's fees as well. These fees are substantial and can more than double the cost per player over the standard travel team fees. To ease that burden on the families, we are fundraising.

We estimate our team needs about $10,000 more in order to cover all the fees to Cooperstown Dreams Park and this does not include any travel expenses.

How Will My Donation Be Used?

Your donation will be used specifically to help cover players, coaches and umpire fees with Cooperstown Dreams Park.

Can I Sponsor a Specific Player?

Yes! Upon clicking the "Donate" button, you can choose to "Credit a Team Member". Select a team member and that money raised will be used specifically for that player's fees. If that player's goal has been reached, the money will be used for the benefit of the team and go towards other players (or coach's) fees. You can also choose"None" and your donation will benefit the team as a whole.
