At UFAR Animal Rescue, we believe every animal deserves a second chance. Every day, we work to rescue, protect, rehabilitate, and advocate for homeless, neglected, and vulnerable dogs and cats, providing them with the care they need and the opportunity to experience love and safety.

Our mission is to rescue and protect animals in need, provide lifesaving medical care and rehabilitation, promote responsible pet ownership, and create opportunities for every animal to find a safe and loving home.

Thanks to the generosity of donors, volunteers, adopters, and supporters, UFAR Animal Rescue has transformed thousands of lives.

Since our founding, we have:

✅ Rescued more than 3,000 dogs and cats

✅ Provided medical treatment, food, shelter, and rehabilitation to animals in need

✅ Created a safe home for more than 350 resident dogs and cats living at our Margate facility and Ocala Sanctuary

✅ Helped countless animals find loving forever families

✅ Expanded lifesaving programs to meet the growing needs of homeless animals throughout our community

🏡 Building the Future: UFAR Sanctuary Expansion

Our commitment goes beyond rescue.

We are currently expanding our UFAR Sanctuary in Ocala, creating a permanent safe haven for animals who require long-term care, special medical attention, rehabilitation, or sanctuary placement.

🚧 Construction of our second sanctuary building is currently underway.
