My Wife Rochelle and I have been involved in the Somerset School District for 5 years. Our kids love being Spartans and we love living in this community. Rochelle has coached volleyball and we’re both on the Wrestling board. Our hobbies range from boating, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and chilling out at home with our Great-Danes, horses, cats and chickens. I’m passionate about history and the American Dream, which I believe is rooted in public education. All should have an equal chance at success, but it has to be earned through ones’ own motivation and hard work. I grew up on a small dairy farm with no financial assistance in my higher education. Since I had great teachers and involved parents, I learned the values and academics I needed to be successful. Our careers in large companies and becoming small business owners, has helped shape our high expectations for our kids’ education. Somerset schools are great in many ways, but I see many opportunities for improvements in academics & culture and it starts with effective leadership. I’m excited to bring new perspectives, professionalism, and results that get more Somerset students on the path to success in school and after graduation.
