Jonah Reyda's Story
I am 18 years old, and I have been riding at Centaur Stride since I was three. I learned how to ride on Maple, and then progressed to riding Pixie. For the past couple of years, I have been riding Dude as well as a couple of other horses. I love riding through the woods and exploring new trails. I enjoy working with the instructors and learning how to groom and take care of the horses. Riding horses has helped me learn the rhythm of a natural walking gait. It has improved my balance. Plus, it’s just fun!
I want to continue helping Centaur Stride, the horses, and all the other people who ride there by participating in this year’s walkathon. I’m going to be walking to help raise the $3500 needed to take care of a horse for the next year. I am thankful that the walkathon will be in person again this year. I would love if you would join me at the Chautauqua Mall on March 26, and I would really appreciate if you can sponsor me by donating to my fundraising page. Thank you for helping me to help Centaur Stride!
