Your donation will have double the impact and it will go towards funding the design of the Human Interface Device (HID) or joystick module for our powerchair "Endurance." We have an important deadline to meet to fund this project by March 29th which is just one week away.

We’ve heard horror stories from power chair users about malfunctioning HID Modules, and I have experienced certain problems myself. One user described the joystick on his power chair as “having a mind of its own”, and he had to deal with the malfunction for over five years before he was able to convince the insurance companies that it was worth repairing or replacing.

Malfunctioning HID’s have broken my legs on at least two occasions, once very badly. It is a crucially important component of the power chair system and it must be responsive and obedient to human input.

Our “Endurance” Power chair will broaden the access and represents freedom, mobility, and independence for persons with a disability. With your support, we can make this powerchair even more accessible and user-friendly through the development of an innovative HID module.
