2024-25 Shirley Chisholm Elementary General Giving Fund
Welcome to the 2024-25 Shirley Chisholm Elementary School General Giving Fund! While we have many creative fundraising events and opportunities planned throughout the upcoming school year, we always welcome one time and recurring cash donations to the general fund to make sure no program goes without.
Our PTA leadership is committed to supporting our students, families, teachers, and staff to the best of our ability. Any size contribution is always appreciated and below you’ll find examples of ways your dollars will directly impact our school community.
- Student activities like Spanish Film Club, Arts Club, Drama Club
- Teacher stipends to support special projects, classroom needs, field trips etc
- Teacher celebrations during back to school, teacher appreciation month and more
- Upkeep and repairs to the school grounds and playground
- Maintaining the clothing/supply closet as needed
- School-wide events like Fall Fest, Pancake Breakfast, The Arts Festival and School Dance among others
Without the support of our incredible community, we would be unable to do half of what is asked of us. So thank you in advance for not only financial contributions, but also your time!
