The last 7 years with the Hollywood Food Coalition have reinvigorated my hope and belief in the power of kindness and connection.
And so as we all polish off the last of our Thanksgiving leftovers and enter this season of giving, I’m unapologetically asking for your support on #GivingTuesday to help 2 million of my friends. These are the 2 million people in Los Angeles County currently experiencing food insecurity.
Thanks to the Hollywood Food Coalition, I’ve seen how a seemingly simple thing, like providing a warm meal, can open a genuine trusted connection to another human being who has struggled to be seen & supported for far too long.
So, I ask for any support you can give to make sure everyone in Los Angeles County has food, community & support.
