Giving Hope to Children in Foster Care

At Living Hope Equine Therapy, we’ve witnessed firsthand the healing power of horses, and we’ve also seen a growing need to support one of our most vulnerable and overlooked populations: children in foster care, especially those living with disabilities or recovering from trauma.

Many of these children have experienced more hardship than most of us will face in a lifetime. Whether they are navigating emotional trauma, physical challenges, or cognitive disabilities, what they need most is a place where they feel safe, seen, and supported.

We believe equine-assisted services offer them exactly that, a powerful and unique path to healing through the remarkable bond between horse and human. Horses don’t judge. They listen, connect, and help children build trust, confidence, and emotional strength.

Our goal is simple: make this life-changing therapy completely free for children in foster care who are coping with trauma or disabilities. We never want finances to be a barrier for the families who open their hearts and homes to these kids.

But we can’t do this alone.

We’re launching a scholarship fund to provide these services at no cost, and we need your help to make it happen. Your gift goes directly toward therapy sessions that help children heal, grow, and rediscover joy in a safe, nurturing environment.
