🎉 It’s my birthday! 🎉

Since joining the RESCU Foundation in 2023, I’ve dedicated over 1,200 volunteer hours to supporting the health and well-being of our traveling Renaissance community. What started as helping with social media quickly grew into a full-fledged commitment — and in 2024, I was honored to become the Chair of Communications.

With more than 15 years of experience in media, marketing, and public service — including roles in theater, journalism, and even the Houston Mayor’s Office — I’ve spent my life telling stories and building connections. But nothing compares to the passion and purpose I’ve found with RESCU.

I volunteer not just because I can — but because I must. I’ve seen firsthand how hard life can hit when healthcare access is out of reach. I grew up in a family of healthcare workers. I’ve managed the rollercoaster of Type 1 diabetes with my son. And I’ve lived the challenges of traveling full-time as a small business owner. RESCU’s mission is personal for me, and the difference it makes is real.
