A Home for Her is a nonprofit organization that directly assist women affected by domestic violence and those returning home from incarceration. The population of women affected by these circumstances are severely underserved in the Columbia community. This is the problem we provide a comprehensive solution to. The mission of 'A Home for Her,' is to provide, "a safe space for women to build, thrive, and grow." However, we cannot do it alone. Your donation will go to the purchase of our first, 'A Home for Her.' We need to be able to provide shelter for those who will be homeless if there is not a space for them available in the Boone County area. Currently there is limited space for any individual who is leaving a violent setting or those returning citizens. Please help us to do this much needed work in Columbia, Missouri.
