Naytasha Shant'e Johnson, age 31, of Bridgeport, Connecticut entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 29, 2023.

Known lovingly by her family as Tasha, she had a warmth in her laughter that was contagious, a smile that lit up a room, and the love for her family and children was always on display.

Three 5th grade girls who rode Tasha's bus in Weston, CT wrote this poem and dedicated it to her. They read it to the school community in her honor: “I get on the bus happy to see my kind bus driver is waiting for me. A smile and my name lights up my face, can’t wait to see her at the end of the day. We get to school in a blink. As we approach the bus driver, she gives us a wink. It’s the afternoon, the bell rings in my ear. I’m grateful to see that my bus driver is near. She makes sure we’re safe every day and cares about us in every way. We get off the bus and say ‘thank you’ - We appreciate our bus driver and hope you do, too!"
