A free, in-person training on the HIV Consumer Advocacy Project (HCAP) presented by ALRP, hosted at PRC.
Participants will explore the following questions:
• What services are offered by the AIDS Legal Referral Panel and how can they be accessed?
• What are some forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)?
• What role does mediation play in resolving disputes and how does The HIV Consumer Advocacy Project employ it?
• What are some of the benefits of mediation for People Living with HIV?
Time permitting, participants will be able to explore, in a small group setting, role plays to further examine mediation theory and tactics.
