At P.O.W.E.R. Atlanta, hundreds of families rely on our food pantry every month. But without a working HVAC system, our volunteers and neighbors stand in sweltering 90-degree heat — just to access the groceries they need to survive.

It’s easy to say, “be grateful for food.” But if you’ve ever stood in that heat, or walked into a space that feels like it’s falling apart around you, you know comfort is care. And care is what our community deserves.

Installing a new HVAC system isn’t a luxury. It’s the first step toward equity.
When our space is safe and functional, we can expand pantry hours, offer financial workshops, host healing circles, and connect people to jobs, all under one roof.

Founded in 2020 by Adrienne Gates, P.O.W.E.R. Atlanta began as a financial literacy program and grew into a trusted community hub powered by 99% volunteers. Every dollar you give helps create the kind of space our neighbors deserve; one that nourishes, restores, and empowers.
