Sparkle Spectacular 2024 is the 3rd annual fundraising event for Raison D'être Dance Project. We invite our patrons to join us for a fantastically fun, frivolous evening celebrating another year of sharing movement and creativity with our community! Last year, we were about to move into our new studio space, "Ground Control". We were raising funds to build out the warehouse into a functioning dance studio and performance venue. With donations from our Sparkle Spectacular fundraising event, we successfully completed the build and opened the studio to the public in March 2023.

We have now been in our beautiful home for almost a full year, and we could not be more in love with the space. It is an open, welcoming studio full of art where we invite anyone and everyone to come move with us in different ways, from adult classes, to multicultural workshops like the West African dance weekend and Latin Dance passport workshop, to our Artist Open Studios and productions like METAL + MOZART. In October and November, our studio became the home for Opera Montana to create its production of Maria De Buenos Aires in collaboration with RDE. Working with tango artists from Buenos Aires, in the studio that we all built together, felt like so many dreams coming true.

We need your help to keep the magic going! Ticket sales only cover a small portion of our expenses (this is standard in the non-profit performing arts) so we depend on our remarkable and generous patrons in order to continue operating. We ask you to contribute in the way that feels best to you, if you believe in our mission to provide communities with a unique view of movement and inspire love and cultivation of dance and music. We are so grateful to each of you for understanding how movement can bring us together, and supporting us in our efforts.
