Meet Ruben, the courageous orange tabby kitten who’s already fought so hard in his tiny life.
Ruben and his brother Jerry were rescued from the soffits of a roof, where they were living vulnerable. Shortly after their rescue, both fell ill with FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis), a devastating disease that is often fatal. Sadly, Jerry passed away at just four weeks old.
Ruben’s story is not over. Determined to give him a fighting chance, we began FIP treatment without veterinary support. Thanks to that determination, Ruben is now stable and showing signs of improvement. This little fighter has proven he’s not ready to give up.
