Odyssey Dance Theatre is dedicated to delivering exceptional theatrical dance through artistic excellence and innovative storytelling. As a professional dance company, our mission is to provide meaningful employment opportunities for Utah’s talented dancers, maintain strong fiscal responsibility while remaining debt-free, and expand access to the performing arts for diverse audiences.

Through dynamic performances that incorporate contemporary social themes, modern music, and the reimagining of classical and full-length works, Odyssey strives to make theatrical dance engaging and accessible to audiences of all ages and backgrounds.

In addition to our performances, Odyssey is expanding its community outreach initiatives to inspire the next generation of artists. One of our newest programs brings Odyssey dancers directly into junior high and high schools, where students experience live dance demonstrations and learn about the many styles, techniques, and career pathways within the world of dance.

Another exciting initiative, Odyssey in the House, allows our professional dancers to visit local dance studios for customized workshops and master classes. These intimate experiences give students the opportunity to train directly with professional artists in a variety of dance styles while gaining insight into the life of a working dancer. The program also helps support our company members by providing additional teaching and performance opportunities during the off-season and weekends.
