Student Family - Fair Share Pledge of $400

Each family of a Royal Blue Regiment Marching Band or Color Guard student is asked to consider a Fair Share Pledge of at least $400 to help cover essential program expenses that extend beyond our annual budget, including:

Instrument purchases and maintenance
Music copyright and competition entry fees
Sound equipment
Transportation to and from competitions, and travel insurance
Uniforms and props for each show
Student meals and snacks on competition days
...and other program needs

Reaching our fundraising goal is critical to provide students with a successful and rewarding season. Our participation in Northern California competitions is only made possible by the generosity of our families and supporters.

Program Financial Information

The salary for one full-time Band Director is paid by the School District.
The program is partially funded through California Proposition 28 - Arts and Music in Schools Funding.
The remainder of needed program funding comes from family and supporter pledges and donations, booster fundraising efforts, and Oakmont Field Festival proceeds.
