Operation International Team LA

Team LA is a chapter of Operation International, a secular nonprofit that provides medical care to those in need in underserved countries. The team is based out of Los Angeles, California and was founded by Ian Otinga, the Kenya Country Coordinator for Operation International, in the summer of 2025. It is comprised of general, plastics and head and neck Surgeons and are supported by CRNAs, nurses, and scrub technicians. Team LA will have its inaugural mission to Kakamega, Kenya in the fall of 2025. The team aims to support OI missions in Kenya and help establish Kakamega as a future base OI missions and operations in Kenya.
