Joyful Ranch is working on raising money to purchase a bigger property and build a home for sex-trafficked teen girls. This will also allow us to rescue more horses! There are thousands of horses abandoned at auctions every week in Texas. There are over 400 trafficked girls in the Dallas area daily. Joyful Ranch will use the rescued horses to provide equine-assisted therapy to these girls. As a Christian program, we will offer them bible studies, church involvement, and intensive trauma therapy. We aim to raise enough money to purchase the property by March 1st, 2025, and then start building so that the home will be ready for intake by September 1st, 2026. 

We will be expanding in phases. Phase one will be offering intensive outpatient groups and purchasing a new property. The next phase will be getting that property set up to support our current activities, and then be able to rescue more horses. The 3rd phase will be building the home for sex trafficked teens, and hiring the rest of the staff to make this happen. Each staff member will need extensive training while the home is being built. Then, of course, the final stage will be offering housing, plus all of our intensive outpatient groups, weekly therapy groups, and one on one sessions.
