At Crossroads, our mission is simple yet powerful: to help every child acquire the skills they need to thrive, in school, at home, and in the community. We see incredible progress every day. Children are learning to communicate, engage with others, gain independence, and take pride in their accomplishments. Thanks to supporters like you, this growth is not only possible—it’s happening.

Livy, for example (name changed for privacy) is a four-year-old who is learning to use her words, ask for breaks, and stay with her group—skills that may sound small, but are life-changing for her and her family. These are the building blocks of a brighter, more independent future. And they’re possible because people like you chose to believe in what we do.

This past year has been transformative. We’ve moved into a new building—a milestone that brings both exciting opportunities and new challenges. Through it all, our mission remains the same: to provide personalized, meaningful support to every child we serve. The truth is, we couldn’t do this without the generosity of our community. It’s the backing of supporters like you that makes it possible to grow our programs, strengthen our services, and ensure each child has the tools to thrive.

Crossroads Mission & Approach
To prepare individuals with and without developmental disabilities for life success within their family and community. We utilize interventions from the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) which is a branch of psychology and education with a foundation based on scientific analysis of human behavior and learning.

We want the public to know that we are here to help and that we believe fully in using the methods that have been proven effective through scientific research. We encourage family members to learn about applied behavior analysis. Here are some great resources.
