The Junior League of the Oranges & Short Hills (JLOSH) is once again partnering with the Orange Public School District by providing a complete Thanksgiving meal to families of the District. Donations support the purchase of all traditional Thanksgiving meal sides including the turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, vegetables, sweet potatoes, gravy, and a dessert.

Last year JLOSH donated 451 complete meals reaching over 2,700 individuals. This year our goal is 500! Let's get there together!

Junior League of the Oranges & Short Hills

Our mission is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, cultivating and developing leadership, and supporting communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

The Junior League of the Oranges and Short Hills is focused on addressing the basic needs of low-income children, pre-K through 8th grade in our service area. Our community service work is dedicated to closing the gap on food insecurity, essential clothing needs, school supply gaps, and hygiene needs of school-aged children living in poverty. We believe that when these basic needs are met with the necessary supplies and educational resources, low-income children can focus their energy on succeeding in school.

We are a Junior League committed to being inclusive and representative of the communities we serve and we welcome women of all races, identities, abilities, and religions who value our mission. Our League is made stronger by fostering a diverse membership of effective and creative leaders and volunteers who live in and serve our beloved communities.
