Calling ALL Grandparents - Near and Far

Join the Carteret County Public School Foundation’s Grandparents’ Club to honor your grandchildren and support educational excellence in our schools. Your gift helps ensure continued access to exceptional learning opportunities for all students and support for all teachers in every school in Carteret County, ensuring the future is bright for our youth.

Grandparents of Carteret County students will have access to events, news and opportunities through the Foundation.  Donations donate online here or by mailing a check to Carteret County Public School Foundation c/o 107 Safrit Drive, Beaufort NC 28557. Be sure to include a note with your grandchild(ren's) name(s) and school so we can be sure to add you to our honor wall

About the Carteret County Public School Foundation

Our mission is to bridge the gap in education by focusing on three key areas: Innovation, Intervention, and Investment.

• Innovation: Through programs like our Professional Development Fund, we’ve awarded $100,000 in grants to help teachers achieve National Board Certification, attend conferences, pursue additional licensing, and more. The benefit of National Board Certified teachers to students is immeasurable and supports strong learning environments across our schools.
• Intervention: Our Crisis Assistance Fund provides immediate help to families during tough times, allowing them to focus on education and find stability in crisis. Helping with avoiding homelessness, emergency bills, gas cards, clothing like winter coats or house fire relief, the Foundation stands ready to help our own. 
• Investment: Along with many scholarships the Foundation manages, our Big Rock Teaching Fellows Scholarship awards deserving high school graduates with a full tuition, fees and books scholarship in pursuit of a degree in education and return they complete 4 years of teaching here in Carteret County, ensuring homegrown talent and investing into our Carteret youth.
