The Open Ice Foundation is a fully recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to making hockey more accessible for kids and families across Maine. We believe every child who dreams of playing hockey deserves the opportunity, regardless of financial barriers.

Donations directly support scholarships, registration fees, learn-to-skate programs, and essential hockey equipment for youth players.

From helping cover the cost of season fees to providing skates, sticks, and protective gear, your support ensures more kids have the chance to get on the ice, build confidence, and experience the game.

As a registered nonprofit, all contributions go toward expanding our programs, growing our equipment resources, and increasing the number of families we can support across the state.
