Someone walks up to the front door maybe a church, a nonprofit office, a community center. They have nothing. No ID, no place to sleep, no idea who can help them or where to start.

Right now, what happens next depends on luck. Which staff member is working. Whether that person knows about the right resource. Whether the referral actually gets followed up on. Most of the time, the person walks out with a piece of paper and a phone number and nobody ever knows if they made it.

Operation Iron Gate changes what happens at that door.

The moment someone walks in, they get a real case. Not a form. Not a number in a queue. A live case that the system tracks from that second forward. If they have no ID, they get a credential issued on the spot so they can access housing and services within two hours. Not tomorrow. That day.

Every referral gets tracked to confirmed receipt. Not "we sent them." Confirmed they arrived. If a partner says they have space and nobody shows up, the system flags it. If a case sits untouched for 72 hours, the system escalates it. If someone is in a clinical crisis, there is a dedicated lane that fires immediately.

Nobody gets lost at a handoff. That is the whole thing.

For Vallejo a city where people experiencing homelessness have been failed by disconnected systems for years this means for the first time there is a complete picture. Who came in. What happened. Whether it worked. And if it didn't work, why with a documented reason, never just a shrug.

Your gift funds the launch. The front door finally leads somewhere. Help us open it.
