Jackie Wayne Mills and Jeff Carnley are gearing up for an extraordinary adventure as they traverse the historic Route 66, covering 2,448 miles of open road to raise crucial funds and awareness for the WLS Foundation.
As two individuals deeply committed to service, Jackie Wayne and Jeff have dedicated their lives to protecting and serving their communities.
Jeff Carnley is the son of a retired Air Force Veteran. The Carnley family landed in Belton, South Carolina in the early 90's. Jeff graduated from BHP in 1995, then joined the United States Marine Corps where he served until 2002. Jeff also served in the Air Force Reserve from 2004 to 2008. He is an active member in his local VFW and American Legion.
Hailing from Honea Path, SC, Jackie Wayne's journey of service began after graduating from BHP High School in 1995 when he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Serving with distinction until 2002, he then transitioned to a career with the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office, where he now serves as the Captain over the Special Services Bureau, faithfully dedicating over two decades to the citizens of Anderson County.
Their ride isn't just about the miles; it's a journey fueled by the passion to raise awareness and funds for those who have served selflessly and are now confronting mental health challenges. Your support, whether through a pledge per mile or a one-time donation, will directly benefit the When Life Sucks Foundation (WLS), ensuring that veterans and first responders receive the vital assistance they need.
Join us in honoring Jackie Wayne and Jeff's commitment to service and supporting their mission to make a profound impact in the lives of those who have sacrificed so much for our communities.
