‘ŌPIO FEST

HIFF’s inaugural ‘Ōpio Fest is an exciting three-day event tailored to engage young audiences and families through a celebration of student films that spotlights the diverse voices of young filmmakers across Hawai’i. For the past decade, HIFF has greatly invested in initiatives that nurture and empower the next generation of cinematic storytellers across Hawai'i through HIFF’s Education Programs, which include Youth Education Screenings, classroom engagement in the Guest Filmmaker Program,  student mentorship, and more.

We are honored to bring this new Festival to audiences of all ages in Hawai’i and take pride in offering all ‘Ōpio Fest programming completely FREE to the public.
