When he first arrived, Copper was shy and observant, holding his emotions close. But something beautiful happened when our first mare joined the sanctuary, his entire demeanor shifted. He perked up, became protective, and rediscovered a spark of joy. His arthritis pain has already eased since arriving, and today, Copper is the first horse to greet you at the pasture gate.
