At the same time, the actions we take and how we move through the noise is critical to our survival, reminding us that we need each other and we can take care of one another while building the world we know is possible. Join in on an evening of beloved community featuring art, poetry, local organizations, and panel reflections from Long Beach-based community organizers at "Organizing from Puvungna to Palestine: Disruption and Transformation in the Authoritarian Era.” This evening event is open to all community members looking to be involved in local activism and organizing and current advocates and organizers working to build a more connected and just Long Beach. About Long Beach Forward: Long Beach Forward is a grassroots community organization that creates a healthy Long Beach with low-income communities of color by building community knowledge, leadership, and power. Rooted in over 15 years of community organizing in Long Beach, we serve as a multicultural and multigenerational third space for community organizing and movement building where we can collectively advance racial, spatial, economic, and educational justice within the City of Long Beach.
