About the Holiday Ornaments:

These are handmade ornaments, crafted with care, are created with a purpose to not only help families in need but also are the perfect gift to family and friends during the holiday season.

We are selling customizable "Scrabble Ornaments" (picture at the top of page), made with a holiday ribbon, a bow, silver bells, and of course, the Scrabble pieces. The "Ribbon Christmas Tree Ornaments" (picture below) are made out of a wooden star and some beautifully arranged ribbon.

About the Cause:

All proceeds plus any extra donation you give will go towards The Holt Brothers Foundation, providing families affected with cancer with support.

They do this through their KidsCan! program: A program providing education, emotional support, peer empathy, and inspiration for children whose parents have cancer.

They also support a summer program named Camp Kesem. Similar to the KidsCan! initiative, the kids have one thing in common – all of them have a parent with cancer. The children under their watch swim and enjoy all sorts of outdoor activities. But most importantly, they are with other children who know what they are going through. “When you’re a child living with a parent with cancer, there isn’t a lot of time for fun,” says Torry. “There’s chemo, radiation, treatments, uncertainty. A week away with a focus on fun can make all the difference in the world.”

This fundraiser is supported by General Services Foundation, mobilizing high schoolers by providing them with guidance and monetary support to execute fundraisers, drives, and events for nonprofits they are passionate about in their local and global communities.
