Al-Huda School Student Financial Aid Fund for Orphans Official

Children who cannot be raised by their parents have a right to be raised by all of us!

Approximately 443,000 children are in the foster care system in the United States, 4,600 of them are in the state of Maryland, and 92 of them are Muslims! Children in the foster care system are faced with a lack of school supplies such as pens, notebooks, book bags and even less at their living situation - oftentimes moving or storing their clothes in trash bags, and lacking access to full and healthy meals. It is our responsibility as mothers, fathers, brothers, and sisters to raise our Muslim children, and remove their financial burdens, so that they may excel as students and as Muslims.

$81,704 in full scholarships were awarded to 13 orphans. Among these 13 orphans, 5 were from Muhajir (immigrant) families. Many of these parents are single parents or low-income parents that need assistance to cover the tuition fees for their children.
