The Chesterfield County Babe Ruth Baseball League provides low cost, community baseball to high-school age players who have aged out of the various recreational baseball leagues that serve Chesterfield County, VA.

Currently, players from 16-18 do not have a community based baseball league in Chesterfield County. Players who have aged out of the existing Baseball leagues that service the county are left with only a few choices: They can pay to play for a very expensive travel organization, try-out for one of the very limited spots on their high-school team, or travel to Powhatan or Dinwiddie Counties to play in their Babe Ruth Leagues.

Starting in 2024, with the help of local businesses, Chesterfield County residents will be able to sign-up and play Babe Ruth Baseball for a team closer to home.

We have a number of ways that local businesses can help out, with different rewards heading back to the business depending on the donation amount. It will be obvious to all families with players in the league, and all fans who attend games, which local businesses are helping make the league a success.

Businesses that donate at the Bronze Level of $200 make a single game happen. This is roughly the amount it costs to pay umpires and supply baseballs for a single game.

Businesses that donate at the Silver Level of $500 fund an entire day of baseball. This is roughly the amount it costs to pay umpires, supply baseballs, and rent a field for two teams to play on a weekday or a single team to play a weekend doubleheader.

Businesses that donate at the Gold Level of $1000 fund a full week of baseball. This is roughly the amount it costs to pay umpires, supply baseballs and rent fields for one team’s weekly schedule.

Businesses that donate at the Platinum Level of $2000 fund our insurance for the year. This allows to add more games without increasing registration fees.

All donations can be set up to renew yearly, which will also renew the rewards each year.

Of course the greatest reward is knowing you are helping make a difference in the lives on the young players who will be involved in the organization.

PLATINUM LEVEL - $2000 Donation

• A Post on the league's Facebook page.

• Your Business Name and Logo on a League Banner, which is hung outside the dugout for all practices and games.

• A Plaque with Team Photos for display in your business.

• 100 T-Shirts with the League's Logo and the Sponsor's Logo given to players and parents of the league's players to wear as walking advertisements.

NICE PLAY - Individual Donation
