Our Empowerment Hub

Life Skill Solutions Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering the Louisville community through life skills classes, workforce readiness support, and youth-focused educational programming. Our goal is to revitalize neighborhoods by equipping individuals with practical daily-living skills, academic support, and career preparation tools that strengthen independence, economic mobility, and community leadership.

The Foundation aims to acquire and revitalize distressed properties through programs like the "Last Look" or "Save Our Structures" initiatives. These sites will serve as "Empowerment Hubs"—community centers that host classes, neighborhood events, and volunteer activities. The Foundation’s long-term plan includes operating from a brick-and-mortar physical location (the Foundation’s flagship facility) that will serve as a dedicated Empowerment Hub for ongoing programming and community engagement. The Foundation also intends to partner with the local court system to provide opportunities for individuals with court-ordered community service to donate their time through structured volunteer assignments. Community service participants may assist with site maintenance, neighborhood revitalization projects, and supporting Foundation events, providing a productive way to fulfill service requirements while giving back to the community.
