Story

At Outlier Media, we’re launching our year-end campaign to raise $45,000 in support of our mission. Our newsroom is committed to addressing information and accountability gaps in Detroit. We identify, report, and deliver valuable information to empower residents to hold landlords, government, and elected officials accountable for long-standing problems.

Thanks to a small group of committed donors and NewsMatch, with support from The Walton Family Foundation, The Joyce Foundation, the Knight Foundation, and the Heising-Simons Foundation, we have $41,000 in matching funds for this campaign. This means every dollar of the first $41,000 raised will be doubled. Your donation will have twice the impact!

Wondering how to donate? Donations are accepted online or can be mailed to our office. Please make checks payable to Outlier Media. Our mailing address is 440 Burroughs St., Suite 365, Detroit, MI 48202.

We believe local news is essential because having access to information about what's happening in your city allows every community member to make informed decisions in their daily lives. Help us continue our free, high-quality news service for Detroiters!
