Out of the Weeds Denver Preliminary Fundraiser

 Good day, everyone, we trust all is well? Out Of The Weeds Denver is an organization that offers comprehensive support services for hospitality workers . We will be the resource hub for anyone seeking or in need of assistance with challenging circumstances, unemployment supplementation, housing, legal aid, career development, industry education and entrepreneurial endeavors. Our programs will encompass all of those disciplines. Service industry employees are underpaid, overtaxed and resources are hard to come by using traditional means because of the pay structure. There are a myriad of needs and desires within the industry that require nurturing. Currently, there are no programs governmentally or independently that offer broad support for the hospitality sector. We plan to rectify that by being the central destination for any food and beverage worker in need of aid. Over time, we want to be the ultimate support organization for the Denver service industry, we believe it deserves proper representation and effective support systems and we aim to provide that.

 We are in the startup phase of establishing this much needed foundation and are currently fundraising. With this campaign we are seeking to raise $20,500.00 while we build our structure, brand, build our website and plan the first in person fundraising event. These funds will be used for: 

• Start-up costs-Registration costs, licensing and permits, insurance, website design and maintenance, financial software subscription systems to manage funds, customer relationship management software and digital communications.

• Equipment and Supplies-Phone lines, digital pads and computers  

• Marketing and Promotions-Business cards, branding, branding artwork, printed marketing materials and market research

• Personnel and Professional Services-Contracted employee, accountant and legal representation fees

• Initial Fundraising Event-Event space, marketing materials, beverages and food 

 We invite you to participate in helping us reach our monetary goal by donating to this campaign. Every dollar of your contribution helps a server in financial crisis, a cook with an injury preventing them from working, a hostess seeking employment or a bartender looking to start their own business. No amount is too small and any effort will be humbly appreciated as every bit is a step closer to our goal of being the comprehensive support system for the Denver area hospitality community. If donating is not a possibility, please feel free to share this information with anyone who has a soft spot for the service industry to raise as much awareness as possible. Together, we can launch this organisation properly to the public and robustly perform some good work.
