Dance changes lives. It changed mine. From my early days as a young dancer, I vividly remember writing in my class journal when asked, 'What do you want to be when you grow up?' My answer: 'I want to help people!' That passion for making a positive impact has led me to a community that I deeply believe in – the Dance Project of Washington Heights.
