Greetings friends, burners, ravers, community builders, raptor lovers...

We folks at Sunset and Chill and Relevations Events are so excited to bring you Owl Fired Up, an open burn and fundRaver for our friends at Owl Moon Raptor Center. 

Founded in 2002, Owl Moon is a state and federally licensed wildlife rehabilitation center specializing in birds of prey. They have been a licensed non-profit organization since 2014. Owl Moon is located in Boyds, Maryland at the home of its primary operator, Suzanne Shoemaker, and serves Montgomery and neighboring counties.

Owl Moon cooperates with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, Wildlife & Heritage Service, and local animal control offices and humane societies to answer calls concerning injured, orphaned, or otherwise jeopardized birds of prey. Owl Moon rescues, rehabilitates, and reconditions raptors with the goal of returning them to the wild.

Such an amazing organization deserves an equally amazing venue, which is why we are partnering with Bump N' Grind Analog Market, a combination coffee shop, music venue, record store, thrift store, maker space and artist market, to bring you an unforgettable evening. Please note there are multiple Bump N' Grind locations. This event will be at 923 Gist Avenue.

Whether you're a house head, a head banger, or a techno stan, this event will feature a variety of local DJs who bring a little something for everyone. Our most magnificent line up includes: Electro-Cute (tech-house, ecstatic dance, world music), SHAFT XXL (breaks, house, future funk), Patient Patient (ambient, global bass) Riki Rain (house, drum and bass, tech house), Spaurtacus (classic house, progressive house, deep house), and RellyBelly (bass house, tech house, funk house).

Fire Spinning info:  Open fire circle 7-10 PM. Mandatory safety brief at 7&8. White gas provided.

We will need volunteers for this event, so if you are interested in a free ticket in exchange for one hour of labor please send an instagram DM to @relevationsevents or send an email to [email protected]. Let us know if you're interested in helping run the burn circle, ticket taking at the door, security, set up or clean up.
