Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) is proud to host the 7th Annual Mental Health Awareness 5K Run & Walk on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at the Clayton County International Park, located at 2300 Hwy 138 S.E. in Jonesboro. The starting point will be at the St. Thomas Pavilion.

Formerly known as the “CCPS Teen Violence & Suicide Awareness 5K”, this reimagined mental wellness event is designed to educate and raise awareness among young people, families, and our community about mental health, wellbeing, and suicide and violence prevention. This year, emphasis is placed on celebrating and promoting resilience among scholars.

Encourage stakeholders to volunteer before, during, and/or after the event.
