As we look back on this year, we see data that shows that our efforts are working. Every metric we have on our intentionally crafted programs designed to meet the needs of youth underrepresented in STEM from school age to the time they enter the workforce – says we are making a difference. Beyond that we can also look back on the faces, the smiles created, and the spark we see in the eyes of these students and their parents. YOU did that. YOUR generosity makes this possible.

Since our inception in 2011, more than 14,000 youth have been empowered with the academic and workforce skills necessary to inspire them and their families to pave a path that leads toward economic sustainability. They have been prepared to successfully enter the 21st-century workforce and excel in their long-term careers. We are asking you to imagine with us what an impact it would have if we could reach more youth with our programs. Our greatest challenge in bringing more students into the program is funding – and we are solving this problem with the help of generous supporters like you. YOU can make this difference.

Here are some program highlights in 2023:

Awarded eight $2,000 college scholarships to students in Oregon and Washington
Held our 2nd Annual iSpace Summit in Seattle with over 150 students
Held our coding and cybersecurity programs with Seattle Parks and Recreation
Secured our Future Teachers Pathway program for the second year at Vancouver Public Schools.
Launched our iSports program. Youth-acquired skills in sports mgmt and data analytics
Held three iMAP Research Projects with GIS Mapping and Machine Learning
STEMoWeen Summit with four concurrent workshops and product ideation sessions
Participated in Computer Science Education Week with three tech virtual workshops
iCivics, a civics engagement campaign focused on voter registration
iUrban University - college prep planning for students and parents

IRS regulations regarding donations and gift receipts are very specific. A contribution is made at the time of its unconditional delivery. Donations charged to a credit card before and up to 11:59 p.m. on December 31, 2023, will count for 2023.
Checks are considered delivered as long as they are postmarked December 31, 2023, or earlier. Postmarked envelopes must be included to ensure donor proof of gift in 2023.
