Humane education is the core of our mission. We know that underlying every aspect of the pet homelessness problem is a fundamental lack of knowledge in the public about companion animal behavior, needs, and the responsibilities and requirements of having pets. We know that in order to educate people we must reach them early and often, and provide them with factual, engaging, and actionable information to help them have the best possible outcomes with their pets.

We provide free humane education presentations to the public, in venues such as k-12 schools, public libraries, veterinary clinics, animal shelters, and community centers. We also provide educational materials, such as brochures, cards, coloring pages, and flyers, to k-12 schools, veterinary clinics, and low cost spay/neuter providers.
