Kestrel's dedicated staff of naturalists guided over 2,000 students on the North Shore last year on nature-science adventures that inspired joy, wonder and connection to the natural world. For the vast majority of those children, those experiences were free — their schools received grants that Kestrel administered, wrote and tracked; Kestrel engaged in fundraising in order to pay our instructors and purchase materials.

However, Kestrel is reeling with the changing grants landscape. We need to raise $20,000 for next year, and we need your help.

We know a lot about the power of community. By supporting each other locally, we can keep all of us well. Together, we are far from helpless. Together, we can choose to raise children who still have the opportunity to explore and appreciate our natural world with thoughtful mentoring of nature science projects. Together, we can sustain sustainability itself.
