As the Merry Makers approach 100 years of service, we stand in a moment both humbling and historic. Since 1926, our commitment has remained unchanged: open doors, remove barriers, and invest in young people who deserve to cross the finish line of their education with dignity and hope.

But the world our students are inheriting is more complex than the one we entered. Today, the difference between graduating and dropping out is often something as small as a $700 laptop, bus fare for a month, an art supply kit, or emergency housing after a crisis.

This is why the Merry Makers created the March to a Million College Scholarship Campaign—a bold movement to grow our endowed scholarships from $500,000 to $1 million by our Centennial Celebration in 2026. This historic milestone will secure scholarship support for generations of diverse, talented students across Central Ohio who attend Columbus State Community College, Columbus College of Art and Design and The Ohio State University.
