The Merced Symphony is thrilled to announce the return of its beloved Sundays with the Symphony concert series on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 5:00 PM at the Merced College Theater. This special event features a live performance by The Town Collective Quartet, the unofficial quartet of Oakland, California, known for their vibrant energy and masterful interpretations of lesser-known Classical-era works.

The quartet includes:
🎻 Rebecca Wishnia – Violinist and Merced Symphony Orchestra member, recognized for her passionate musicianship and versatility.
🎻 Tammie Dyer – Accomplished violinist and advocate for expanding the classical canon.
🎻 Lewis Patzner – Innovative cellist and genre-defying composer, known for his bold, collaborative spirit.
🎻 Jacob Joseph – Esteemed violist and chamber music artist, known for his warm tone and artistic depth.

Back by popular demand, The Town Collective Quartet promises a rich and intimate concert experience, blending storytelling with extraordinary musicianship in a program that highlights hidden gems of chamber music.

🎟️ Seniors (65+) & Children (Under 18): $10
🎟️ Students (Under 25 with valid ID): $5
🎟️ Family Package: $50 (includes two adults and a combination of children/seniors — up to 6 people total)
🎟️ Sponsors: Complimentary tickets for all sponsors who contribute $250 or more.

Doors open at 4:00 PM, and the concert begins at 5:00 PM sharp.
