MAPS understands that roadblocks, like the City of Jackson's Ticket, Arrest, and Tow Initiative, criminalize poor and working class communities. Sometimes folks have to decide between paying their car insurance premium or putting food on the table Sometimes they have to risk driving to work without a updated driver's license because they can't afford to pay fees after paying high water and electricity bills.

Along with our legal efforts to stop the unfair and unjust roadblocks, we are also raising money to help folks who have to pay fees associated with being ticketed, arrested or towed or who cannot afford their car insurance payment or driver's license fees but need to drive to work.

Please donate today because we know when it comes to public safety - WE keep us safe.
