Hi! My name is Shane Baker. Our (almost) 5 year old son Carter was diagnosed with Autism just after his 2nd birthday. Thanks to early intervention with speech therapy and occupational therapy, Carter no longer has an IEP at school. He will be attending preschool again this fall as a peer mentor to assist other kids in their growth. My goal is to raise Acceptance & Awareness of Autism, and to raise funds for those who are not as fortunate, so that all kids can receive the necessary treatments and hopefully alleviate even a little stress for some of those families. We hope that we can help to assure that all families have proper access to the professionals and care they need. Early recognition and help is key. I look at it as a blessing that we've been given the opportunity to see the world through Carter's eyes. Thank you for taking the time to check out our page and support us! Spread kindness!
This year we want to support a local organization, and have chosen the Autism Society of Central Ohio. Join ASCO as we create connections, empowering everyone in the Autism community with the resources needed to live fully. The connection is YOU!
