Join us virtually throughout month of May for the Derby Day 5K in honor of Marion County-bred, 2021 Kentucky Derby winner- Medina Spirit!  Run or walk at your own pace to help out the girls at Pace Center for Girls, Marion! For the first 300 participants, as soon as you register, we will be mailing out to you the beautiful horse-themed medal. Entry is only $35 and includes free shipping of your medal! Wear your favorite Derby hat and/or wear red while running and share your pictures with us using the hashtag: #pacemarionderby5k Find the Great in Every Girl. Pace provides free year-round middle school and high school academics, case management, counseling, and life skills development in a trauma-informed and gender-responsive environment. Pace is one of the only models for girls in the country with a proven evidence base. A research study conducted in 2019 found that Pace nearly doubles the likelihood of girls being on track to graduate from high school as compared to girls with the same risk factors that did not attend Pace.
