My name is Taylor Winston, and I am a current student at the University of Central Florida. I am writing to you today to request your support and sponsorship as I pursue an invaluable opportunity that aligns with my passion for social justice.

At the University of Central Florida, I am majoring in Political Science and minoring in Criminal Justice, with the aspiration of becoming a lawyer in order to advocate for the rights of marginalized communities. Recently, I was offered an internship at National Voices for Equality, Education, and Enlightenment (NVEEE), a non-profit organization dedicated to bullying and suicide prevention. NVEEE's commitment to fostering the personal and professional growth of youth resonates deeply with me.

I have been presented with the incredible opportunity to attend NVEEE's annual Peace Ambassador Leadership Summit (PALS) at Florida International University (July 16th - July 23rd) and Georgetown University (July 30th - August 5th). This summit is a transformative experience where I will gain invaluable leadership skills, develop my interpersonal abilities, and collaborate with a diverse and creative team. Moreover, it will provide me with firsthand exposure to the impactful work accomplished by the non-profit in nurturing and empowering the students it serves.

To attend PALS, I am seeking financial assistance. The total cost of participation, including housing, meals, workshops, and necessary supplies for my role as Volunteer Coordinator and Resident Coordinator, amounts to $2,750.
