PALS Summer Camp 2022

This inclusive camp is designed for children aged 5 to 12 who are beginner to intermediate riders. Campers will practice mounted and unmounted skills each day as they learn basic horse care. There will be crafts, games, and fun learning opportunities each day with a special horse show on Friday where campers can show off their new skills! Full and half-day options available. Campers are required to wear masks and we are following regular cleaning protocols. Campers are responsible for bringing their own lunch.
Story
Since its inception in 2000, PALS has been dedicated to providing comprehensive, individualized therapeutic equine programs designed by professionals to intentionally develop and restore functional skills, enhance well-being and improve quality of life. PALS has provided over 20,000 therapeutic horseback riding lessons, various educational programs, and camp opportunities designed to improve the lives of hundreds of children, adults, and seniors in the Indiana community ranging in age from 3 to 88. As the only organization in south central Indiana to have received a Premiere Accreditation distinction from the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.), and the only Equine Assisted Activities and Therapy program in Monroe County or the surrounding vicinity, PALS has been instrumental in providing the highest quality EAA/T for clients from 11 counties across the state.
