Paradigm Schools is a public charter school in South Jordan, Utah. We serve scholars in grades 7-12.

At Paradigm Schools, our goal is to create scholars, not just teach students. We do this by teaching our scholars how to think, not just what to think, so they can be ready to participate in academia as thought leaders rather than followers.

Learning happens best when it is self-led, which is why our schools offer multiple modes of learning and a multidisciplinary approach to cater to each individual scholar. We want your scholar to learn in the way that is best for them, not anybody else.

Recent legislative efforts have been successful in closing funding gaps, yet Utah charter schools still receive significantly less funding than traditional public schools. The largest reason for funding discrepancies between charter and traditional public school rests on the fact that charter schools do not have access to money generated through taxation from tax-payers residing within large school district boundaries.

Reduced funding creates many challenges for Paradigm, including but not limited to: upgrading facilities, offering competitive teacher compensation and incentives, retaining high quality teachers, growing and improving school programs such as the performing arts and athletics, and programs designed to sustain student motivation through recognition, awards, and scholarships.

As a Non-Profit 501(c)(3), Paradigm has the opportunity to expand and diversify its revenue sources through fundraising primarily through 1) increasing scholar enrollment, 2) grant writing and grant acquisitions, and 3) charitable donations.

Charitable giving is a wonderful way to help the school! We gratefully appreciate your donations, including your time. In addition, we wish to expand our donation sources to include corporate donations. If you work for a great company looking for ways to donate to good causes, please consider pitching Paradigm as an excellent option.

Donations are directly funding the following goals:

1. Employee Compensation - This increases teacher compensation to a sustainable and competitive range that helps us to retain the best mentors for our school. This includes employee salaries, stipends and retirement benefits.

2. School Programs - You can help us increase funding for school programs in Performing Arts (choir, band, orchestra, dance, theater), Art (drawing, painting, digital arts), Athletics (soccer, volleyball, basketball and cross country) and Clubs & Academics (mock trial, debate, Academic Decathlon).

3. Scholar Motivation & Recognition - You can help us to increase funding to provide scholar awards and recognition, including Hammer Time activities, senior activities, awards night, Sterling Scholars luncheon, scholarships, graduation and our annual Feast & Ball dinner dance.
