Founded with the mission of enhancing the quality of life for those we serve, we are committed to promoting independence, inclusion, and community involvement.

Our Mission:
To empower individuals with developmental disabilities and their families through comprehensive programs, services, and advocacy, enabling them to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives.

Our Services and Programs:
We offer a wide range of programs and services tailored to meet the diverse needs of our community, including:

Independent Living Skills Training: Helping individuals build confidence and self-reliance in their daily lives.
In-Home Respite Services: Providing families with much-needed support and care in their homes.
Family Support Programs: From autism resources to a Spanish-focused support group, we ensure all families feel heard and supported, regardless of their background or primary language.
Job Development Program: Assisting individuals with disabilities in finding employment opportunities and gaining valuable workplace skills.
Day Programs: Offering engaging activities and skill-building opportunities at our Chico and Oroville locations.
Food Bank: Providing essential food assistance to individuals and families in need.
Transportation Services: Ensuring access to our programs and services across the region.
Translation Services: Bridging communication gaps to ensure inclusivity and understanding.
The Arc Thrift Store: A hub of sustainable consumerism where we not only promote environmentally conscious shopping but also employ individuals with disabilities. Here, participants collect bi-weekly paychecks while learning crucial job and life skills in a supportive environment.
